the film is about the science fiction civilization in which mankind is forced to survive, it's about reality (or its absence), and remember: Zardoz the movie is  part, a product of that science fiction, its purpose it to show us the way out of cinemas and cities, to show us that science and technology are meaningless and dangerous, and that we should connect to nature as soon as possible.
