"Here's Mulder and Scully's house everybody. This is supposed to be Mulder&Scully's house I think.
“They want to turn the road into a riverbed and stage a car crash that comes over the edge and lands in the riverbank. They need enough snow to make it look natural,” said Sheena Fraser, Village of Pemberton deputy clerk. 
(so it's assumed that M&S are living there together when this car comes crashing through
their home)
