I don't mind the second movie being only a stand alone thriller kind of story, as long as we get to see a development, and a really good plot. I mean, some of my favorite episodes were stand alones and the mythology kept me hooked but aside from some early ones, my top favorite episodes are self contained stories... and my really favorite ones were those where the stand alone linked to a personal side or characteristic of the agents (like Irresistible, or Elegy)... or gave a surprising twist to the mythology (like Leonard Betts).  I really hope this time the date set is true... I hope it is the truth. :)
