I live in San Diego, but believe it or not, I just couldn't get down
to Comic-Con this year. After reading several accounts on the RPF
about how crowded, and HOT, it was, I'm almost glad I didn't go. But
all the pics I've seen makes me wish I did go.

Speaking of the pics, I didn't see one single wookiee in the scores
of photos I've seen. Did anyone here go? Did you go as Chewie? Did
you see any Chewies? Do you know of any Chewies that went?

I know we're a rare species, but I like to hear about any Chewie
sightings!

P.S. For the record, I was very close to going. I did a full
costume dry-run at home Saturday morning; warmed up my vocal cords;
but my posse bailed on me at the last minute. If you don't know why
it's necessary to have a posse, it's just that I've learned from
experience, that without one, you'll get absolutely mobbed. But even
with my friends bailing on me in the 11th hour, I still thought about
going solo. Fortunately, sanity set-in, and I watched the Tour De
France instead.
