Hey everyone!
Man! I wish I had found these groups years ago!!! It¡¦s amazing that
I¡¦ve been a diehard Star Wars fan for as long as I have without
knowing that other fans have been this organized when it comes to
replicating the props/costumes from the movies!
I¡¦m a live adventure designer who has just taken 6 months off from my
day job to work on a Jedi Path fan site. It¡¦s something that I¡¦ve
always wanted to do ¡V to offer to the world a practical (and fun)
path to becoming a Jedi Knight (even creating The Trials). I hope
that everyone will check it out¡Khttp://www.starwarsadventure.com
HOWEVER ¡V Once I found these few groups through yahoo who do what you
do I was AMAZED! I KNOW that others would love to see what you¡¦ve
created and would be inspired to become a part of it if they just
knew about it! With your permission, I¡¦d love the opportunity to
showcase some of your work along with a link to your club on the
site. The whole spirit of the website is bringing the Star Wars
Universe to the real world¡Kto make it real for ultimate
entertainment. Those who will be frequenting the site will be
likeminded and be blown away by the work you¡¦re doing¡Kwhich again,
I¡¦d think would bolster the participation in your group.
Out of absolute respect for all the hard work you¡¦ve all put in to
your projects, I wouldn¡¦t dream of drawing attention to the group
without your stamp of approval (though I can¡¦t imagine why anyone
wouldn¡¦t want to do a little showing off ƒº )
What I would love to do is showcase a different group every couple of
weeks ¡V showing photos and information you¡¦d care to share about your
group along with a link to it. Hadn¡¦t thought much more than that
yet¡Kafraid I hadn¡¦t originally in mind to do this because I didn¡¦t
know you all existed. ļ If anyone has any ideas on the best way or
requests, I¡¦m all ears. What do you say? Send me an email if
you¡¦re interested! ¡V support@...
