RE: [Wookiee] Cable Controlled Mechanical Mask

Somebody in Tennessee who is on this board has the video and could probably make a few bucks if he agreed to make copies of it…

Hint hint hint

Wink wink wink

You know who I am talking about…

Subject: [Wookiee] Cable Controlled Mechanical Mask

Hey Everyone...

I'm getting to the point of getting a good head cast. It's been tough
to coordinate people to help me out with this. We've done it twice on
a friend, and I've learned a LOT about the process. There is a lot
that doesn't seem to be very documented. Once I have everything down I
will write up some detailed documentation, with pictures hopefully.

This brings me to my point. "Cable Controlled Mechanical Mask" I can't
find it ANYWHERE!! I even e-mailed the guy that made it with no
response. Does anyone have any leads on where to get this? If someone
would like to sell me a copy, I would gladly purchase it.

In other news, I'm still experimenting with the fur suit. I'm looking
to get some pre-made fur fabric and then sewing/gluing/loop-hooking on
the longer hair. Reading from Peter Mayhew's web site "It was a great
big over-suit. It was a knitted mohair suit, with yak hair for the
fluffy effect, and underneath I had a leotard, and body padding..." So
I think I'm going to attack it this way.

Images, descriptions, writeups coming.

Thanks for the help. Again, if ANYONE knows where I could get a copy
of "Cable Controlled Mechanical Mask" I would REALLY appreciate it!

Ordinary latex rubber masks will not work. They are too rigid. They to be either foam latex or soft, animatronic grade silicone rubber like DragonSkin. There...
