Hello --
Hope this e-mail finds everyone well.
I wonder if someone might be able to help me.

My name is Doug Gordon. I am a producer for Wisconsin
Public Radio's nationally-syndicated, Peabody Award-winning
program, TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE.
http://www.wpr.org/book/

We are putting together a special five-part series on Science
and Religion.

I am trying to track down threef Woody Allen clips to
use in the series -- one from SLEEPER and one from
LOVE AND DEATH.

I've rented the DVDs. Alas, I am not very familiar with either
of these films and coming up against a deadline...so I wonder
if any list members can tell me at what point in the respective
films the following clips occur...doesn't have to be exact time
(although that would be nice) but if you could tell me
approximately what point in the film, that would be great.

Here are the clips I'm looking for...

from SLEEPER

1) Miles: Science is an intellectual dead end, you know? It's a
lot of little guys in tweed suits cutting up frogs on foundation
grants.

2) Luna: Oh, I see. You don't believe in science, and you also
don't believe that political systems work, and you don't believe in
God, huh?

Miles: Right.

Luna: So then, what do you believe in?

Miles: Sex and death -- two things that come once in a lifetime...
but at least after death, you're not nauseous.

from LOVE & DEATH

-- Boris: Oh, if only God would give me some sign. If He would
just speak to me once. Anything. One sentence. Two words.
If He would just cough.

Sonja: Of course there's a God! We're made in His image!

Boris: You think I was made in God's image? Take a look at me.
You think He wears glasses?

Sonja: Not with those frames.

--------------------------------------------
Thank you for your time, consideration and help. I really
appreciate it.

Appreciatively yours,Doug Gordon
