Yeah, the 70's and 80's definitely were the peak. He had moved out of
his slapstick phase but hadn't yet moved into the bitter
relationships phase. I'm torn between Annie Hall and Manhattan as a
favorite, BUT I can offer one other possibility that is relatively
recent: Sweet and Lowdown...
