Description

Welcome to Victor Garber Canada, the only Yahoo group originated from Victor's Hometown of London, Ontario, Canada.

Victor Garber began his career at a young age in his hometown's "London's Little Theatre". Born March 16, 1949 his Piscean wanderlust ultimately led him to the bright footlights of Toronto's theatre circle, as both an actor on stage and musical performer in the group "The Sugar Shoppe" and eventually Broadway and Hollywood as Jesus in the motion picture adaptation of Stephen Schwartz's masterful musical "Godspell" (1973). Since then, Mr. Garber has built a vast collection of television and film credits in the span of over thirty years... Most notable to international audiences as the shipbuilder Thomas Andrews in James Cameron's epic "Titanic". Other versatile roles Victor has performed include the unforgettably heroic but mysterious "Spy Daddy", CIA Agent Jack Bristow in "ALIAS"; Det. Philip Mallard in the "Joanne Kilborn Mysteries"; "Sleepless in Seattle"; "Tuck Everlasting"; "The First Wives Club"; "Legally Blonde"; "The Outer Limits"; "ReGenesis"; "Justice"; "Eli Stone"; "Milk" and recently "Glee" and the online comedic hit, "Web Therapy". Victor's continual draw to theatre has also earned a number of plays to his resume such as the Tony Award Winning "Art" produced by Sir Sean Connery with Alan Alda and Alfred Molina and "Present Laughter" in Boston. Whatever the medium, Victor lends heart and professionalism.
