Off topic, but thought you might like to know...Tonight, March 6, on
the Tonight Show, the musical guest will be Evanescence.
They are an emerging group from Little Rock, finally something good
to come out of Arkansas! LOL! (I live in AR). Their new CD, Fallen,
debuted this week, and it's really good IMHO. Two of the songs from
that CD are on the Daredevil soundtrack. (Please, don't throw those
rotten tomatoes at me! heheh!) Thought you might want to take a look
and a listen to them. Just because I'm older, doesn't mean I have to
listen to geezer rock! LOL!

I'm voting for Thomas (he comes on really mushy with Emma and sweet, I would fall for him.) Simon's got a shady past but I like his "all-over" val kilmer disguise (lol). Then I liked Bruno, and Martin was suductive the way he touched her hand, I loved the long black hair on him as well. Lastly, did I mention val kilmer is becoming a major obsession, but I'm working through it (lol). Alesha

Hola vanessa!! :-) People have mixed feelings
everywhere.. All through January 11-19, 38 countries
were involved in worldwide protest marches against war
with Iraq.

My position?? At first I didn't agree with Bush, but
he says the only way to avoid war is to change their
leadership; I think he's got a point there. Today
(March 1st) it seems like Saddam knows he can't win
this one and Iraq disarmed 4 of their missiles as
promised, but armed themselves with other types of
weapons to replace the missles they destroyed. What
about the other 100 missles?? and they're still mass
producing them. I think we have no choice but to take
some kind of action, otherwise we are just sitting
ducks for their next attack (who knows??.. a year or
two from now). Sadamm is a very sick man who has been
keeping these poor iraqi people in an animal-like
enviornnment with absolutely no voice for three
decades. People need to listen to what THEY want. Yes
they want peace too.. That's why they are praying
night and day for a war in iraq so they can be free
from the tyranny of an insane man (Saddam). The war on
Iraq is about freedom. Freedom for all of us.
But honestly I have a hard time deciding whether to be
for or against this war because of all the lives we're
going to lose.. But we are the land of the free and
freedom has always come with a price.. a price that
our military is very willing to pay, to risk it all,
to keep our country at peace..
But I don't know Vanessa.. It's a tough call either
way.. for me anyway ;-) There's a lot to consider.
You expect to have news soon? on the war??
-Becca~! :-)

Taken from A Saint Interview..

Patrick Stoner: You got very involved in the creation
[of The Saint]. Was this because you thought THAT'S
the way the character had to go or was it because you
wanted an acting challenge?

Val Kilmer: Both. Phillip [Noyce, the director] said
it IS character driven so whatever ideas you have
about anything good. I suggested the disguises would
be more than what we usually think of. Each disguise
would be a whole character -- without laboring it. You
would see Simon enjoying people, making each of these
characters an event. I hoped that if it was fun for
me, it would be fun to watch.

Shoot, Becca, I've got SHOES older than Ben Affleck! I just like the
character, and he was passable in the role. Of course, I'd like to
see our dear Val (circa 1985) play Daredevil. ;) Cause he looks so
good in leather pants. (Hey, I'm old, but I ain't dead, or blind!)

Don't take any little kids to see Daredevil: too violent!

The last soundtrack I bought was (quit snickering!) Top Gun. I wore
the cassette completely out while I was back in college, and the CD
was in the car when I had the wreck. It went flying out of the car
and the wrecker driver retrieved it and all the rest for me. But
it's too scratched to play. So now the Daredevil soundtrack is what
I play to make me feel like I'm 18 and flyin' down the highway, even
when I drive my little car that won't blow smoke of a hot biscuit. A
girl can dream, can't she? LOL!!

Good to be back!

Thank You. I saw my poll.
I get busy but I wanted you all to know I read all
your posts and love getting news, opinions and
ANYTHING val. I try to keep up on his work and am
buying up what I can when I can.
The first time I saw The Saint was in 2001. The Saint
was my introduction to val and I actually fell asleep
during the movie because it was on TV and I was
getting annoyed by all the commercials. I rented The
Saint a week later and then the next week Batman and
At First Sight; they were my first three movies. Ever
since then I have been doing online searches for
ANYTHING and EVERYTHING val.
Besides that wonderful voice that makes my insides
melt, after reading his articles and interviews I
thought he was so intelligent and cool.

favorite guy, Bruno! Put me down for him! ;-)

HI MITHY!!!!! :-)

its more fun that way!
I think we should add a fourth Saint. I mean I just have a feeling
most of us are going to vote for Thomas and Tony. Wouldn't it be more
interesting to see other variations in the voting?

A Saint update!!
we changed the vote to four instead of three Saints to give this
survey more variation. Happy decision making!!

Who will you pick as your 4 favorite Saints?
Tonights total votes:

Simon Templar 3
Thomas Morehouse 3
Tony 2
Bruno Hautenfaust 1
Martin Depores 1

[there's a list of Saint choices down at the bottom of this page]

Hottie poll #2:

For the Role Player and Actress in all of us:

Q: if you were Emma, which 4 Hottie Val disguises
would you want Simon Templar to dress up in while
following you?

A: You can only pick 4 Saints, and we'll write our
picks on the message board instead of putting this
survey among the other polls. At the end we'll tally
up your votes to see who your top four Favorite
disguises are. {I got this idea from The Heavens
Hottie group, Dawn, that posted on our board a couple
of months ago) So lets do it:

Here's The Hottie Saint List: Who's val gonna dress up
as to follow {stalking permitted in this case, I'm
sure no one would complain, lol} you?

Simon Templar in no disguise.

Thomas Morehouse.

Bruno Hautenfaust.

Tony ____?______. anyone know Tony's name?

Martin Deporres.

August Christopher.

Simon as Tradiak.

or Simon as the cleaning lady.
