Yes, I glued the flashing onto the PVC and then also used some nails or
screws to get the flashing to stay in place. I used gorrila glue.

Also, I think the flashing had to be wrappped around the PVC in a
certain way so that it would make a vertical specularity or shine. If
the flashing was put on the wrong way, the specularity or shine was
horizontal. I could be wrong about that, but that's what I remember.
I hope you know what I'm talking about, it's hard to explain.

For the PVC neck parts, I wasn't able to make the diameters match my
blueprints because I couldn't cut the PVC and bend it into a smaller
diameter. Maybe the PVC could be heated up a little in an oven or with
a heat gun (like Craig Smith does for the R2 battery boxes).
