You can hear a nice, 20-minute long interview with Tracey at www.freshair.com.
This is the site of the NPR program Fresh Air; she appeared this past Monday,
the 22nd.
Thanks. I try to do a good job on those. I'm debating whether or not to write
up her recent interview on the Web with Sam Donaldson (which was excellent, by
the way).
Thank you Roger for your summaries. I saw the
Today show but we don't seem to get Regis and Kathy Lee
here any more. I also did not know she was going to be
on the daily show. The summaries<br>were quite in
depth and informative. Good job.
I've posted summaries of Tracey's appearances
yesterday on the Today show, the Daily Show, and Live with
Regis & Kathie Lee. You can find them on my Web site

Tracey was on the Oprah Winfrey show Tuesday.
However, it was only a brief segment in a show devoted to
online shopping; naturally, she was promoting her own
online boutique, Purple Skirt.<br><br>Get your VCR's
revved up for Monday; she's going to be on the Today
show and Live with Regis & Kathie Lee. Then on
Thursday, she'll be on the Tonight show. That's broadcast
in HDTV in my area, by the way.
I read on Tv guide online today they had an
artical on Tracey. She talked about the movie and making
movies. She said that she rather do Tv. Which she is now
working on a new season of Takes on (finally). And it
sounds like she is done making guest shots on Ally Mc
Beal):. She also said she is staring to direct.
I have been adding some pics of some of my rare
Tracey import record collection. Come take a look<br>and
for those who have not joined yet come join so you
can see the pics. And I will be other Tracey pics as
well.
USA Today had a recent article about a recent
benefit in L.A. for the National Down Syndrome Society,
with which Tracey has been heavily involved. Quoting
from the article:<br><br>"I have a great affinity for
people with Down. I'll never forget one day
a<br>16-year-old Down boy did my math homework," recalled Ullman.
"It was<br>amazing, and I knew right then how much of
their wonderful talents<br>people never get to
see."<br><br>The full article is available

The trailer certainly looks good. I plan to go
see the film as soon as it opens in Detroit. And
speaking of Oscar, somebody's been conducting an online
poll about next year's Oscar winners. Right now,
Tracey's running third in the Best Supporting Actress
category.<br><br>Roger
If this Woody Allen movie "Small Time Crooks" is
good and does well could this finally be the big break
Tracey has deserved. She has won Emmys, golden globes,
and cable ace awards. Now it is time for an Oscar.
And if she wins, Tracey and us fans can thank
Striasand for turning the role down.
The trailer for "Small-Time Crooks" is available
in QuickTime format at www.movie-list.com. Of
course, Tracey is prominently featured;
her<br>character's voice is most similar to Fern, but the accent is
nowhere near as strong. This looks like it's going to be
a good film.<br><br>Roger
Man thats somthing. I know you have a lot of
stuff I would love to have Roger.I will later put those
on. But I do have Mac Kenzie but it is a bit rusted
I'm not sure if I could give you a tape. But do you
trade tapes or sell to people.<br>Laurie
There must of been alot more sketches than I got
to see. I don't remember medallion man on that tape.
But it was a great show from what I seen.<br>With a
good cast yes not only Tracey was great (she always
is) but Lenny and David too. I wish I could of seen
more of the show. Is Gibson Rayleen's husbands last
name? If not she must be related to Nolene LOL.
I'm fortunate to have obtained copies of every
episode of 3OAK except one (the Christmas special). The
tape that has been sold over here in the US contains
the entire first season except for the musical
guests.<br><br>Someone's already mentioned the Australian Blue Peter and
the Annoyah sketches; yes, those were pretty good.
Tracey's character in the ABP sketch (Nolene Gibson) could
be one of Rayleen Gibson's long-lost relatives! What
else -- the Ruinettes sketches, Moira McBitch, Rev.
Nat Westminster, Medallion Man; yes, I enjoyed
those.<br><br>It would be nice if BBC America or someone decided
to air 3OAK, for it'd appeal not only to Tracey fans
but also to Lenny Henry fans.
Yeah all those are funny too. I have only seen that tape because that is the
only Three of a kind tape available here in the US. And the BBC America channel
does not seem to have it on.
um -Australian Blue Peter was good, and Annoyah
(spoof of Toyah), but my favoutites are the little red
riding hood inner city tales thing, and Mrs. Tomlinson.
Have you seen any more, or just that video - their
Christmas specials were hilarious!<br>TTYL<br>MIKE
Yes I have that tape somewhere. It is very
very<br>funny. I watched it so many times I might have worned
the tape out LOL. What is your favorite sketch I
liked most of them. Lucher airlines was
histerical.<br>Laurie
Hi guys!<br>Ive just joined - im a big fan Traceys. Has anyone seen the comedy
sketch programme that started her career in the 80s - Three of a Kind. Its sooo
good!<br>TTYL<br>MIKE
