Here is more information about Kate's role in 'The Best & The Brightest' - a
comedy co-written and directed by Josh Shelov, based on his and his wife's
attempts to get their child into Manhattan's private school system.

Kate's character is [THE PLAYER'S WIFE] -- a former attorney-turned-politician,
wife to The Player (played by Christopher McDonald). Number two on the board at
Coventry Day School (after her husband), she is a hard-hitter who knows how to
drive a bargain.

The film, which stars Neil Patrick Harris and Bonnie Somerville as the happy
couple, along with Amy Sedaris among others, is currently shooting in
Philadelphia, which is filling in for the New York City locations.
