There's an interview with Kate in the new issue of Star Trek: The
Magazine. It's issue #9. The magazine's website says it will be on
sale Dec. 27th but I've heard from a few people who have found it in
stores now.

We catch up with Kate Mulgrew, and learn what, if anything, she would
do differently if she had her time as Captain Janeway again. "I
learned discipline, constitutionally and otherwise," she explains. "I
learned to respect and support my colleagues. I learned that
preparation and reliability are key. But mostly I learned my own
strength, which wasn't something I was aware of previously. There's
nothing harder than working 18 hours a day when you're raising
children. I'm proud of doing that."
