Thanks very much for cleaning up the board from the spam junk.
As a person who runs his own Yahoo group, I can only say that the best way to
keep this sort of thing out, is for people to post at least occasonally and keep
the discussion on track.
It's when Yahoo groups appear to be abandoned or people seem not interested,
that spam merchants seize the opportunity to post, figuring no moderator is
going to delete any of it.
Keeping active is the best way of keeping them out.
And of course it is essential to delete it as soon as it pops up.
I had my first the other day..I took it out within minutes, removed the person
who joined only to post it and banned that person from rejoining.
As for "Eyes," the new Tim Daly network series was picked up by ABC but will not
begin until the halfway point of the season.
Tim also has a couple of feature films he had been working on, one called
"Bereft," that may be released soon.
