I can't wait. I know that I am in for a real treat.<br>And I'm a big fan of all
the actors so that is a bonus.<br>I hope it is a hit so my chances of see The
Grey Zone in theaters will increase.
My mom loves Delmar the best too. She's a huge Clooney fan though so he was her
favorite.<br><br>Delmar is so cute. I wish O Brother would be available to buy
on video already.
i joined up today and i want to let you know i am going to the toronto film
festival to try and see grey zone, and i will stalk mr. nelson like crazy and
try to get photos to post at the premiere!!!
If you want to see another part of TBN's talent,
rent the movie EYE OF GOD (written and directed by
him). I guarantee that you'll be blown away. Tim also
has written THE GREY ZONE, a play that can be
purchased through www.dramatists.com. THE GREY ZONE movie
(directed by TBN) will be in theatres before
1/1/2002.<br><br>God Bless!<br><br>Brian
Hey there I'm new to the group, but not to Tim. I
just wanted to say that I just watched my O Brother
DVD for about the millionth time today =] I just
can't help it! Tim is just so damn
addicting!<br><br>And one of my very favorite Delmar lines is:<br>Pete:
"No they never did turn me into a toad" (or something
to that effect)<br>Delmar: "Well that was our
mistake then... And we was beat up by a bible salesman
and banished from the Woolsworth. I dunno Everett,
was it the one branch or all of em"<br> ~See
I watched my O Brother DVD again last night
showing it to my grandparents and aunt for their first
time seeing it. It was a hit of course.<br><br>Tim got
the biggest laughs. My aunt kept saying, "He looks so
dumb!" Good acting to come off so believable, when in
reality he is so brilliant.<br><br>Any commments on your
favorite part of the movie?<br><br>One of mine...<br>Pete:
Eighty-fowuh yis old!<br>Delmar: Well I'll only be 82!!<br>:D
I think Delmar O'Donnell is one of the most
likeable characters I've ever seen in a movie. I got my
best laughs from his part. Such a good hearted
character...and the fact that he is in prison for crimes
committed only to save his family's farm makes it all the
easier to relate to him.<br>Who wouldn't want a friend
like Delmar?<br>Tim brings the character off so
convincingly, you have to believe he's a really nice guy
off-screen as well. Certainly not as slow-witted though! ;)
Hello, I found this club from the Soggy Bottom
Girl's Tim Blake Nelson website (which I love by the
way).<br>I've seen O Brother twice at the theater and about 5
more times on DVD. I love the movie and I thought
Tim's part was the funniest. :)<br>Glad to have found
the club. Be talking with you soon hopefully.
I love to so much, as a director and an actor. I
hope he starts getting some more lead roles soon. I
think he has been very underated as an actor. O Brother
proves what a great talent he is. Plus he's gorgeus.
