Well after far too long a delay I finally read it this morning and
oh heavens is it total drivel.

Sorry to be blunt and to the point and given that I am new to this
group it is probably something that has been brought up before.

I was shocked at the pointlessness of most of it. The only really
flash of the original story was the Inigo history lesson.

I have decided a couple of things from reading it.
1) There is no story left in the idea, and he lashed something
together to cheer up the fans.
2) I think it has been written for the benefit of the people who
where children when the film first came out. At that point in your
life you were interested in adventure and the pursuit of true love.
When you get older you are more concerned with the problems of
childbirth and actually being able to live together.

or have i missed something?
