I remember watching the Princess Bride about 12
years ago with my family. We recently bought the video
but I think a scene has been cut. I have a memory of
the two heroes getting down from the castle by
sliding down a banner using their swords as a brake. In
the video the princess is caught, the two men
exchange a few words up at the window, then you see them
riding off on their horses !<br>Did I imagine their
dramatic descent or are my daughters right to shake their
heads and mutter about senility :-)<br><br>Colin
