I'm always amazed how individuals can traspose a
producers/directors work to converge with their own belief structure.
The last time I checked, I didn't see God's or Christ
Jesus' names in the film credits. HOWEVER, this movie
does aspire to principles and beliefs that seem to be
long forgotten in this wicked world. Enjoy the movie
for what it is; entertainment. Twisting it's overall
meaning to coincide with personal political or religeous
beliefs is:<br><br>1. Wrong<br>2. Demeaning to it's
creators and developers<br>3. Misleading to those who have
never seen it.<br><br>People who do this are the same
as dictatorial social editors. Imagine if a movie
critic, in his initial review of The Princess Bride, made
the statement, "Its also a wonderful Christian
allegory!"<br><br>As one who strongly believes in God and His Glorious
King, please don't heap unnecassary symbolism from
earthly sources upon the Kingdom of God! (2Timothy
4:18)<br><br>The movie is simply about a man (Wesley,) a princess
(Buttercup,) and their True Love for each other. Nothing more,
nothing less. The concept of "True Love", if portrayed in
the movies for all it's worth, would require more
cameras and more film than has ever been used in the
history of Hollywood.<br><br>We need more movies like
TPB. Not more selfish social critics. Never forget:
God and Jesus Christ loved the world, not the movies!
