I haven't posted or checked in at this site in a couple of years. I'm not sure
what made me do it today, but I noticed posts re:the Oscars and their tribute
section (and the lack of Kim Chan's presence). When did he pass away? I loved
him on KF-TLC. His picture is my screen saver. I recently came across a
self-portrait he did years ago for people on this forum (looks like a caricature
- I'm sure some of you have it!) So sorry to hear he is gone.

Losi

Good morning, Losi,

Our beloved Kim left the earth on Sunday, October 5th, 2008. His obituary
appeared in THE NEW YORK TIMES on Friday, October 10th.

Kim was profiled in THE NEW YORK TIMES (print article and video) on Tuesday,
June 19th, 2007.

I hope you will be able to access these materials, Losi.

Kim was somewhere in his 90s. One of his lungs collapsed last September. He was
rushed to the nearest hospital. For a while, his health seemed to be improving.
But then something happened.

I am very grateful for the support of the club members.
