LG - FYC AWARDS CAMPAIGN

This was started last night and already has over $ 250 of contributions.

As people know we've set up a FYC LJ for Gilmore Girls:

A few of the Message Boards have gotten together and are trying to put
a major campaign behind Lauren Graham - an ad that will be in The
Hollywood Reporter.

a FYC ad in The Hollywood Reporter:

In case you guys are interested, I talked to the Hollywood Reporter
and got the rates and deadlines. The deadlines for the Emmy ones are
between now and June 9th. The thing is, it is pretty pricey for emmy
time... For a full page add it is $3680.00, so if you were interested
in putting in a half-page or so on, do the math and it should be
around there. The woman that I spoke with told me that the WB does
have an add in for her but it is also including their other actors so
it won't be prominantly for her. She also said that Lauren's publicist
was on the phone with her today about Lauren possibly putting one in
for herself, she wasen't sure yet if she wanted to do it. It is up to
you guys if you want to try to come up with the money or not...I just
thought I would get you the info. If you are interested in pursuing
it, I am definatly fine with organizing it as long as I can get some
people to help me with designing it and some other stuff. The price I
gave you above is for Black and White, color is like 4 times as much!
Totally up to you guys though, as I said it is pretty expensive! You
could always advertise it on all the GG websites, to see if people are
interested in giving money.

Also if you guys are interested in doing this, it would also be good
to try to get some extra money to put into Lauren's charity of choice
also.

How to make a PayPal payment:

1. If you don't have an account then Sign-Up for an Account
2. Click on Send Money
3. Recipient Email = ggfycawards@...
Amount = whatever you want to donate
Currency = whatever you prefer
Category of Purchase = service
4. Press Continue - confirm it and all done.

Any remainder of the money that isn't used for the ad will be given to
the charity of Lauren's choice (that includes if the ad does not reach
the amount needed or if there is any excess amount)

We need someone to create the advertisement for us - if you are
