Jada Pinkett Smith eyes 'Matrix 2'
role<br><br>LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Jada Pinkett Smith
is in negotiations to star in the second and third
installments of "The Matrix," for filmmakers Larry and Andy
Wachowski and producer Joel Silver. The sequel is slated to
begin production in March in Australia. The third
installment is scheduled to be shot immediately afterward.
The story lines for both installments are being kept
under tight wraps. Original cast members Keanu Reeves,
Carrie-Anne Moss, Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving are
back on board. Pinkett Smith would play Niobi, the
love interest to Fishburne's character.
