I approved these messages from Jon earlier this week as well as a
future announcement that you should see from someone with the Austin
Film Festival. While I've checked out the ventures of both to the
extent that I've viewed their websites and tried to get a feel for
what they're doing, I will wave the Camerata Flag of Caution that you
should approach any contest - whether it involves an entry fee or not
- with a degree of care.
That said, hope everyone is doing well. Things are rolling smoothly
out here in LA - lots of projects to work on! And if you're not busy
right now don't worry...it looks like Love is picking up the slack for
all of us!
For those of you in or around LA, don't hesitate to make your way up
to the Twyman Creative Event on Aprill 22nd - just check a few posts
back for the details. Speaking from personal experience I know that
Kirk puts his heart and soul into getting these things running and the
last one he held in LA was ery beneficial for myself and others,
especially from a networking standpoint. Plus, I'll be around for
most (if not all) of the day to answer questions, and I'm a regular
genius ;)
Hope to see you all there!
Geoff
