The Dallas Film and TV Industry Networking Social Happy Hour



You've been invited to attend The Dallas Film & TV Industry Networking Happy
Hour being held on Thursday, March 17, 2005. This is event is held every
Third Thursday of each month at the Velvet Hookah located at 15375 Midway
Road in Addison from 5pm until 9pm. This event helps bring film and video
professionals and their local area industry organizations closer together.
In addition, for those who will frequent the Film Industry Networking Happy
Hour, it is a great opportunity to hang out with colleagues and friends on a
monthly basis, all while giving back to the greater community.



The Dallas Film Industry Group is an informal network and a group that does
not cater to one specific aspect of the industry in Dallas, Texas. This
network serves as a channel to communicate with other video professionals.
This group is also open to those who are interested in filmmaking or getting
into the film industry. From studio projects to independent work. From
pre-production to post-production. From full length features to TV,
commercial and even theatre. Writing, casting, promotions... you name it,
you're invited. The only true item required for you to join is an enthusiasm
for meeting other people from all walks of the industry, seeing how they
work and, well... networking.



Members gather once per month to network with others in the film industry,
exchange business cards referrals and leads.



Listen and watch as actors connect one on one with each other or chat with a
director they hope to work with. It promises to be one exciting evening full
of networking opportunities and exposure for our film making community as a
whole.
