I must agree with this, to use the WCNN world would be just wrong. It
would be like everything we have come to KNOW about the nightmare on elm
street series is nonexistent. I for one would not like to see "Freddy"
in a movie if all i have to base him on is WCNN. I, along with allot if
not most of the ANOES fans grew up with the series, and to wipe out all
the history that parts 1 through 6 have brought to the story itself
would make it not a combination of the two franchises, but just throwing
freddy into a Friday the 13th film. Just because the thought of
Freddy was in the New Nightmare does not include it in the series.
