And I can't believe I didn't share this with the rest of FOZB. :(
Shame on me, I suppose.

Anyway. Kitty and a few others met up w/Zach this past summer in TO to
have him autograph some stuff for the AvCon auction (proceeds from
which went to charity). Well, the picture I'd been looking for was
among the items; but it wasn't to be signed for auction.

It was for me.

So about a month or so after AvCon and two weeks after my b'day, I
receive a little something in the mail from Kitty. In it was a card,
wishing me a happy birthday and adding, "*He* was sorry you couldn't
be there." Of course, I knew exactly what she meant. And then I saw
the picture. The exact one I'd been looking for months ago. Signed by
Zach himself. (I'll add it to the "Miscellaneous" folder in the Photos
section, so you all can see it.) "Hey Shelly! Wish you were here. :)
Zachary Bennett", with the "Wish you were here" part written in a
thought balloon near his head. Everyone--Zach included--had a very
hard time keeping this a secret from me. I will say; it was a very
pleasant surprise. :D
