Hello Everyone,
Hey, check out the link below. It appears soldiers helping out in New
Orleans are encountering spirits and experiencing other strange
happenings, including I think the fact that two Bibles were found in
different areas openned to the same Biblical passage in Revelation.
Soldiers Spooked By New Orleans Spirits

Hello Krissy,
I almost didn't go see it (Emily Rose) because I read such bad
reviews about it. And yes, I finally did see the Exorcist movie.
I personally believe people can be possessed by evil spirits because
it's recorded in The Bible as fact, and Yeshua HaMashiach cast
devils out of people. But are these malevalent spirits fallen
angels, or are they spirits of the wicked Nephilim who were
destroyed in the flood, and now seek human bodies to inhabit.
It also still makes me wonder how within Catholicism Mary seems to
be a malak (Hebrew for angel and messenger). Hebrews makes it clear
we are not angels, but yet Mary seems to have that role in
appearance and the messages she delivers. Could it really be Mary
people are seeing whenever they see what they perceice to be the
blessed mother of Yeshua The Messiah?

Hi Paul. You are so cute with your "father Damien"... infact it's Father

I met Eileen Dietz at a memorabilia show here in Los Angeles last year.
She was a really neat person to talk to and had some pretty interesting
things to say about the movie production. I think she feels a bit
ripped off for not getting more credit for her role in the production.
But, as they say, that's showbiz.
was she in any other movies?

One thing I didn't understand was... when the priest threw himself out
the window, did the demon die with him? coz in 'Fallen' with the demon
Azazel it could only survive in spirit form for certain period of time
before dying (even-though it did managed to stay alive in the end by
possessing a cat). did the exorcist explain if the demon died or not?
I don't remember.
Ya I remember the priest saying how it wasn't actually 'The Devil'
the demon just tried to pass itself of as one to confuse people,
quite pathetic really if you think about it, I meant the demon must
have some sort of inferiority comlex or something to want to make
itself seem more important.

Hey, did you guys see Exorcist II and III if so what did you think? I
thought they were quite strange. I can understand the bit where the
grown up linda blair's char has to go see doctors cos understandable
she would be disturbed after what happened... but the parts with James
Earl-Jone's character and a the plague of Locuses. can anyone explain
to me how that connected to the first film? cos the devil which
posessed blair in the first film was an Assyrian demon which fits in
with the general judao-christian mythos but then they came in with
some confused african/vodoo stuff in Exocist II, whats that about???

Subject: [THE EXORCIST memories page] Re: Newbie here
First time I saw the Exorcist was when I was really young, must have
been about nine. didn't quite get what the film was about then but
remembered nearly wetting myself... and ya my parent used to let me
stay up and watch TV till quite late while they did something else...
Next time I saw the film was when I was 15-16 didn't thing it was
scary but thought it was cool cos there was nothing like it about. I
love all the occult stuff, not that I'm a goth or anything. thought
the vomit scene and the scene with the crusifix was hilarious. can't
believe they got the girl to do it though that could've seriously
disturbed her.
funniest thing was in 2000, a mate went to see the uk re-release. he
came back and was too scared to sleep on his own so he slept on my
floor, and he was like 19...

Saw it!... I haven't, not read the novels either :P from what I've
been hearing though 'the beginning' doesn't sound all that great.
Like what they did with the 'Ring' the original Japanese films where
great! but once goog old Hollywood gets a hold of it they made a big
flop. thing is, I don't think Hollywood can do horrors. they just
can't seem to get the atmosphere right. too much reliance on
computer effect. And don't get me started on the residint evil
films... the games where sort of horror classics in themselves and
what happened? they turned it into some second rate action flim. but
thats a topic for another forum me thinks...

First time I saw the Exorcist was when I was really young, must have
