Re: Angel's Dead
I'm so sorry to read that Angel has died,Scott.Especially by a f---
ing car. Our first cat, Fonzie, got killed by a car back in 1977.
I've never forgotten how he struggled and crawled to our front door,
his little body all crushed. We had to have him put to sleep.I'm a
member on a cat website and a lady there saw her cat being run over
deliberately. The driver swerved onto the wrong side of the road in
order to kill the poor cat. I would have killed him. I have no qualms
about defending animals or the innocent with martial arts.
Remember I told you about my cat, Freckles? He died of a tumour in
November. We were the closest friends for 14 years. That's much
longer than any person has been faithful to me as a friend.
Freckles was my soulmate.I've now got his name as my middle name. All
I hope for is that we meet again.I miss him terribly.I can't believe
he's gone.
So, that's the two of us losing our best friends.
Are you getting another cat? I've reserved two kittens that I collect
from the shelter in May.They have to be with their mother for about
twelve weeks.I reserved them and saw them a month ago and I'll visit
them next week. They'll never replace my Freckles but they will help
me cope without him.
Linda is still working so hard for the animals.I'm sure her role as
an animal defender is her greatest role and not her role in The
Exorcist.
