Diane Neal was born on November 17, 1976 in Alexandria, Virginia and is an American actress widely known for her role as ADA Casey Novak on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. She appeared in the Season Three episode Ridicule as female rapist Amelia Chase before joining the cast as a series regular. Diane has also been featured in two cult horror films, Dracula II: Ascension and its sequel, Dracula III: Legacy as Elizabeth Blaine.
Neal's family moved to Colorado when she was young. She attended university as a Pre-Med major but dropped out to pursue a modeling career. Neal studied archaeology in Israel and Egypt. Neal was even a competitive ice skater at one point. She is the youngest of three sisters.
On July 9, 2005, Diane married her long time love, model Marcus Fitzgerald and they currently reside in New Jersey.
