<<Fanfiction.net has decided to ban all NC-17 stories, and will
remove them on Oct 8, as well as several other categories (real
people fic and dialog fic among them). Odds are good the 'R'
rated and more will be axed as well. Mind you, FFN is financed
by some of the authors that are having stories yanked and edited
without consent.

If you know anyone who doesn't know, please tell them.
If you have any stories there, please back them up.
If you have favorites there, do go save them.
If you disagree, tell them how you feel.

And if you are looking for a new home,
http://www.fandomination.net is new, run by slashers and welcomes
all pairings and types (het, slash, gen and all types) but
original fic.

I'm not a big fan of fanfiction.net myself, but I've come across the odd
pearl of a fic there not being posted anywhere else so... and I'd hate to
see writers lose their work because they haven't backed it up. So here's the
heads up.
