Yes, it's very sad. It appears that some person gets all excited
about someone/thing and creates a message board, such as this one,
and then rapidly loses interest and moves on, effectively abandoning
the place (and all the fans who joined up) thereby allowing it get
overrun with spam. The owners/moderators of this board aren't around
anymore or just don't care because if they were still here and still
did care, they'd stop the annoying mass-mailings by manually
approving who joins the group and not leaving it open and vulnerable
to spambots. I myself am the owner of a Yahoo board (not associated
with Billy) and take pride in the fact that there is no spam
whatsoever on it and the only messages posted are from the real live
fans and members. I try and respond to every message that someone
posts and create new topics of conversation because as the group
owner I feel it is my duty to keep the interest up and the rubbish
out. If you own or moderate a board, you should keep it clean or
delete it because it's not even worth people joining if all you get
are irritating and useless messages trying to coerce you into buying
something or visiting a porn site. Getting rid of the spam is the
only way to keep a place like this alive and thriving but sadly,
nobody seems to care enough to do so.

But onto a change of topic for the few actual fans left - So, did
anyone here go to that UK Collectormania thing where some of the
actors who play the Lost Boys made rare public appearances? As well
as Billy, Brooke McCarter (Paul), Chance Michael Corbitt (Laddie),
Jamison Newlander (Frog brother) and the two Coreys were supposed to
be there! In the flesh! Signing autographs and taking pics! If anyone
did go - DETAILS PLEASE!! Would have killed to have gone myself... ;)
