Just thought anyone here would want to know, that "The Silencers"
Starring Dean Martin, Stella Stevens, and the incomprable CYD
herself, will be making its long-awaited arrival to DVD on November
11, 2003.

The Movie itself will be a treat; it'll be given great stuff like 5.1
surround sound, Widescreen format, and re-edited in High Definition
for those who have HD TV's. The down-side, if there is any, is that
there's no Original Theatrical Trailer for the movie, and no
interviews with the surviving cast members about making the movie,
working with Dean, and especially (at least in my opinion) talking
w/Cyd Herself about why she had to lip-sync to Vikki Carr for one of
her screen performances, and her thoughts about the making of the
film's now famous opening title sequence.

But still, it's a long time coming for this film to finally be made
for DVD, and it's well worth the wait.
