Hello Everyone,

I've noticed the forum has been quite for a while. I'm hoping someone will be
willing to talk to me? I've only become a Brendan fan this year, and am
desperate to find other fans!

I'm English, 37 years old, a mental health forensic nurse; a married female who
should know better, but what the hell - the heart craves what the body can't
have! Mores the pity! <LOL> I first noticed Brendan in Braveheart, but I never
knew who he actually was until just a few weeks back when I bought, '28 Days
Later,' which is one scary film, especially as I live just outside of London..
I went to the pictures to see the film and thought the character, 'Frank,' was
drop dead gorgeous, so I did a bit of investigating, and learned who Brendan was
and that I had owned Braveheart for all these years, yet never realised one and
the same character were, in fact, the same man! Duhhh It was the same for
Lake Placid. I saw the film at the cinema, remarked about the Policemen with
the sarky attitude being a dish, but failed to make the connection - it must be
my age! <LOL> Either that or I am plain stupid.... I've just bought the video,
Salt Water, off Ebay - is it any good?

As well as the above, in the past few weeks, I've gone out and bought Wild About
Harry (what a fab film!), The General (which is yet to be delivered), Lake
Placid, and a talking book called. 'The Van' that Brendan narrates for, that,
too, is yet to be delivered. I'm looking forward to listening to this tape on
my headphones, hoping that Brendan talks in his native Irish tongue. When I saw
'28 Days Later' I could have sworn he was another Cockney. The man knows how to
roll the English Lingo.

Anyway, I'm hoping that we'll all begin chatting soon - if not I'll be forced to
write every day until you give in and email me! Yep, I'm a sad, lonely, Brendan
fan who needs company..sob, sob..

Be safe

Karen xx
