If there was ever a time where one should read the book before the movie, simply
because it's a great book, "Revolutionary Road" may well be that time. The film
is adapted from the Richard Yates novel of the same name. You can get the novel
(without the picture of Leonardo and Kate on the cover - sorry) in a brand new
hardcover Everyman Edition for about $17, along with his novel The Easter
Parade, and his short story collection Eleven Kinds of Loneliness. All in all, a
hard deal to beat.
