You do bring up a good point. Zimmer's TTRL score is unlike any of
his others, come to think of it - maybe Horner's will be, too. I just
hated The Perfect Storm soundtrack so much I will be ill if something
similar is made for TNW. But maybe I am being too hard on Horner. I
hope so. I have to admit that I did like Legends of the Fall (from
what I remember). And Braveheart, too, I guess.
Also, Angela: I don't know who did the music on the New World
website, but one article I read indicated that the film score had not
been composed at all yet, and wouldn't be until after the first cut
of the film is ready - supposedly due sometime the end of this month
or the first part of July. I do not know how accurate this is, it's
just what I read!
Did anyone else notice how, at the New World website, Terrence
Malick's "about" info is only two lines long!? Shorter than anyone
elses - so typical of him.
