The problem is, all the award shows have been
doing this, for years now. I do review them
when I can and I mention this in the review,
or rather I basically rave about it - check
roguesreviews.com to read some of 'em. Drives me
crazy. I think the producers don't trust that
the public watches these shows FOR the acceptance
speeches, or at least I do. I have talked to
some people who are actually BORED by the speeches;
these are the people, I believe, who shouldn't be
watching award shows.
