Hey ya'll!!!! Mayhaps you SW folks can help me out.
Just like the header says.......I need all possible info on INCOM
history, icons, ect. During these final days of constructing my 1/2
scale, manned X-Fighter, I'm trying to construct a proper icon for my
experimental aircraft's hanger, tentatively named the INCOM_SKUNKWORKS.
THANKS, YA'LL!

My dad was the sword master / stunt arranger on the old Star Wars

the other members know that www.moviesquares.com are holding a prize
drawing to raise money for the Stroke Association in Peter's name
(Peter died in March 2004 of a massive stroke). We are hoping to
raise $500,000 in total. That is a lot of money but the main prize
is Peter's Star Wars: EP IV script with his stunt and lightsaber
notes plus $25,000 so as you can see it's a unique prize. Entry is
$4 (£2) per go so surely worth a shot!

Good evening,
A little selection of classic or rare-ish photos from the Classic Saga
will be continually added to the STAR WARS AFFICIONADO GROUP ONE Site
on and off-please keep checking the folder in the PHOTOS section of
GROUP ONE.If you're not a member of that group, you can join it via
the LINKS section on this site.
Instead of putting those images in this Group, I have elected to put a
batch in the previous one in an attempt to get some people who have
not additionally joined this group to come over. I feel that memebers
of GROUP ONE are missing out on some nice photos and features here, so
I thought I'd make the effort to remind them of GROUP 2's
existence.Something I will continue to do for the forseeable future...
More new material, features and photos, will continue to be added to
this site, so stay tuned...
Thanks to Chris Baker for selected images

Hi everybody,
Hope you are all well,
Just to let you know that three short Han Solo stories from the now
out of print issue 2 of STAR WARS AFICIONADO, from 2003/4, are now in
the files folder. Each one is set either before or during the events
of a different classic movie.
I hope you like them and that they capture the flavour of the CLASSIC
TRILOGY we all love so much.
ENJOY!!

Sorry that you haven't heard from me in the last few weeks.
Basically my email and internet have been down for the last two
weeks and I have been pulling my hair out with the BT engineers to
get it sorted.
Hopefully, everything's all okay now.
During my absence from Cyberspace, however, I have been full steam
ahead on work for issue ten of STAR WARS AFICIONADO out at some
point in end of February. It's back to being around 36 pages this
month and the writing/design is going very well so far. It's got 27
pages devoted to the Prequels-this time we're doing something very
different on the making of the films which I think you'll all like.
Also, in the next month watch out for new photos from all six films
to be added onto the second AFICIONADO group, as well as selected,
fully revised and updated, features from issues two and three-both
out of print since 2004.
Happy remainder of the holidays..and may the Force be with us all...
always.

Hi everybody,
Just to let you know that, in the LINKS section, there is a thread for
a relatively new UK STAR WARS web site. Called THE PRIVATE UNIVERSE,
this is a site for all fans to enjoy, especially those who live in the
UK, who have so few of their own web sites to enjoy for news, fiction
and other stuff. STAR WARS AFICIONADO will be adding it's unique voice
to the site contributions in the future (and vice versa), so keep an
eye out for us in the near future..
Head over and enjoy!!
Regards,
SCOTT
Here's their website details...

Guests are good, but Gary Kurtz, Jeremy Bollouch and Warwick Davis
have sadly pulled out. However, it looks like Genevive O'Reilly will
be there!!

The UK terrestrial premiere of ATTACK OF THE CLONES on ITV1 was
interesting- with a screening of the DVD release with the
longer "I'm a Jedi" dialogue between Anakin/Padme in the Lars
homestead garage. It also had the Jango head butt scene which wasn't
shown in either the UK theatrical release or in the UK DVD release,
which was great to see. Sadly, ratings wise, it didn't get the 5
million viewers I'd at least hoped it would-it got 3.5 million
(which the recent Saturday evening screening this year of PHANTOM
got as well), with the BBC premiere screening of the ROME series
stealing away it's thunder-6.5 milion watched the BBC/HBO series
(and to be honest with you-having seen it later-I thought it was
pretty over-hyped. I CLAUDIUS it ain't!!). ITV's cutting the film in
two segments (one part between nine pm and ten thirty pm, the
second, from eleven pm until twelve twenty pm) probably didn't help
matters, either.
Some other sad news, the excellent actor John Hollis, who played
Lobot in EMPIRE (as well as other science fiction appearances that
included DR WHO, BLAKE'S SEVEN and the movie FLASH GORDON) died this
week-adding to the list of STAR WARS actors who are no longer with
us this year. We're really losing a lot of good people. Lets hope
that any future EMPIRE DVD has the lost scenes of Lobot on Cloud
City put back in. Our best wishes and condolences to his family.

Mister Daniels, old "Golden Rod" himself!!- will be at the London
Oxford Street HMV dvd/music megastore tomorrow lunchtime to sign
copies of the SITH DVD. He'll be there at twelve o'clock to meet the
fans and do a photocall, then at 12.30 he'll sign DVDs for the fans.
Didn't know if you knew about this-

As I'm sure you're all already aware, actor Williams Hootkins sadly
died this week. A very fine actor, Hootkins will always be fondly
remembered for his roles in STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE and
RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.
Though I never met him, I did have the opportunity of seeing him on
stage-doing a marvellous job of playing the legendary director
Alfred Hitchcock in the excellent play HITCHCOCK BLONDE-acting
alongside former BOND WOMAN Rosamund Pike. He really was great in
it. He also recently appeared in a small part in a year six episode
of THE WEST WING (another of this writers favourite series).
Mister Hootkins- you will be much missed. Our best wishes go out to
his family and other loved ones.

Hi everybody,
Just to let you know that, in the FILES section, there is a new

Foster. We look into the story, it's creation, and talk about the
later comic mini series from DARK HORSE.
Head over to the FILES and enjoy the article and look at the McQuarrie
artwork/covers for the DARK HORSE mini series.
More new features to come next mnonth!!
ENJOY!!!

1. This from Bill Hunt - thedigitalbits.com - 10.07.05
We've got a surprise treat for you Star Wars fans today to close out
the week. Sarah and I made the quick plane hop up to San Francisco
yesterday, to attend the Episode III DVD press event at the
Skywalker Ranch. As today marks my 38th year on this planet, it was
quite the nice way to spend an afternoon. I'll tell you more about
it all (and post some pictures Sarah took) on Monday.
One interesting note from the event: Producer Rick McCallum and ILM
animation director Rob Coleman confirmed that Lucas has continued to
digitally massage the other Star Wars films. Specifically, Coleman
indicated that the puppet Yoda from Episode I has been replaced with
a digital Yoda that matches the character as seen in Episodes II and
III. The CG performance was specifically tailored to match to Frank
Oz's puppet performance. You'll be pleased to know that Coleman also
told me, in no uncertain terms, that Oz's puppet work in The Empire
Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will NEVER be replaced with CG.
So you fans can rest easy. You'll get to see the new changes on a
future, as-yet-unscheduled box set release of the entire Star Wars
saga on DVD and/or HD.
One other interesting item to report from the event: McCallum
expects there to be 22 Young Indiana Jones Chronicles DVDs in all, 3
of which have been completed. The discs will include some 66
historical featurettes, now in production. Work has been ongoing for
about 18 months on the Young Indy DVDs, with about another 18 months
worth of work yet to be done. If all goes well, the plan is to tie
the DVD release to the theatrical debut of Indy IV (the script for
which Lucas is expected to finish this Sunday).
Anyway, as you're probably hoping, I've just posted my in-depth
review of the 2-disc Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
DVD, which streets on 11/1. If you thought the video and audio
quality on the previous Star Wars DVDs was impressive, just wait
until you get your hands on this
2. Star Wars TV Shows Ramp Up
Rick McCallum, who served as producer on the recent Star Wars films,
revealed to Now Playing Magazine some of the details of the two
upcoming TV series based on the franchise created by George
Lucas. "The live-action television series is something we're
planning for just at the beginning of 2007," McCallum said in an
interview while promoting the upcoming DVD of Star Wars: Episode III-
Revenge of the Sith at Lucas' Skywalker Ranch in northern
California. "We're just starting to interview writers and trying to
really figure out which direction [to go]."
McCallum added that the series will have a different tone than the
features and will introduce characters that weren't seen on the big
screen. "It is going to be much darker, much grittier. It's going to
be character-based. [Lucas] envisions somewhere like 100 hours,
[set] between Episode III and Episode IV, with a lot of characters
that we haven't met, but [who] have been developed in some of the
novels and other things. We're really excited about that, because I
think finally we're going to have the opportunity to answer
everybody's questions once and for all by the time we finish the
series."
McCallum also revealed that the live-action series is likely to be
based in Sydney, Australia, and will be filmed in hi-def, while
production on the animated series is already underway at Skywalker
Ranch. "The animation is being done as we speak," he told the
magazine. "It's starting to prep. That's being done here at the
Ranch. A lot of the effects are being done in Singapore. ... I think
it's just now in the conceptual work and script work [phase]. I
think George is trying to get 13 scripts done first before we really
start to get into the pipeline of it. But that'll start happening
probably at the end of March."
Hi everybody,
Just to let all you fans of STAR WARS location filming know of two
new features that can be located in the FILES section.
The first is a list and timetable to the filming dates and locations
of the CLASSIC STAR WARS films (a further feature on the PREQUELS is
coming in the near future).
The second is an updated list of updated behind the scenes location
filming notes that encompasses all SIX films, including the location
filming effects work done for EPISODE III. We've also added on more
new info on the other films too (especially EPISODE II).
I hope you like the features.
We've tried to be as complete as we can, but if anyone else has any
info on any of the films location filming that we don't have, please
get in touch so that we can add it on/update the files.
ENJOY!!

Hello
Is what you see, what you should believe?
This is a link for quite an Interesting video
To be honest (In this day and age) I'm not really to sure what to
think of it ....
Not to make light of any of the situations (In reality) that are
happening to the innocent abroad
but none-the-less it does present a differing take (excuse the pun)
on something that is also happening
The video is just under 20 minutes - Watch as much of it as you can
I will GUARANTEE
it will provoke some thought .... you'll see

Very sad news indeed!
I have some personable memories of Micheal from Celebrations 2 and 3
He was filled with of lots of humour and laughter joking with fans and
his acting mates while signing autos
Specifically at C3 he walked up and down the growing registration line
on Wednesday stopping to talk with everyone about what-ever, This is
something Anthony Daniels did during C2, It was nice in AD's abscence
that he would come out and enjoy the atmosphere

I would recommend it. My mom bought a copy on Ebay a few weeks ago and gave it to my nephew for his birthday yesterday. I read it and was impressed by the huge amount of information in it. The pictures alone are worth the overseas postage. (In our case Britain to Kansas.)
My nephew just turned 11 and he was amazed by so much to read in that one magazine. I suspect he and his dad, my brother, are fighting over who gets to read it.
