As I'm sure you're all already aware, actor Williams Hootkins sadly
died this week. A very fine actor, Hootkins will always be fondly
remembered for his roles in STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE and
RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

Though I never met him, I did have the opportunity of seeing him on
stage-doing a marvellous job of playing the legendary director
Alfred Hitchcock in the excellent play HITCHCOCK BLONDE-acting
alongside former BOND WOMAN Rosamund Pike. He really was great in
it. He also recently appeared in a small part in a year six episode
of THE WEST WING (another of this writers favourite series).

Mister Hootkins- you will be much missed. Our best wishes go out to
his family and other loved ones.
