Thanks for the message.
The latest magazine is almost finished-so far, it's a triple issue-currently scheduled to weigh in at 148 PAGES-the biggest we've ever done-all of it devoted to the MAKING OF THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK-from George Lucas's conception in 1977 to final release in 1980/81. Apologies to everyone for the delay (it's taken longer to put together than I thought but I wanted to pay tribute to this film in the best way posisble-it is so many people's favourite ORIGINAL TRILOGY film)- it has also affected my work on the two AFICIONADO YAHOO GROUPS (some new stuff coming very soon, including lots of photos)-this has been a Hercurian assignment by myself and my colleagues Chris Baker and Ian Trussler (thank you both for your hard work). It is, however, going to be the best issue we've ever done and the amount of photos (over the three hundred mark) and rare information will hopefully please a lot of people. Please note that, with the printing costs of the triple issue, it will be a limited edition at a higher price than the normal double issue.
The 2007 anniversary issue-which will be a standard 36 page issues- will also be out in late summer 2007-a 30th anniversary souvenir to all six films-we have not yet determined what's going to be in that one. What do you guys out there want to see in it?
I promise to get back to you all on the magazine's final completion and printing within the next few weeks. As ever, there wil be advance preview pages to look out and more information on the mag near release.
