I was watching my Stargate SG-1 season 7 DVD, and there was a scene where the main charaecters were trying to disable a ship with a BFG (big freakin' gun). I think I should have cought on when the pilot of the fighter noted "I thought we were going with Red Leader for this one" when the control said his callsign. Thats right, very similar to the Death Star II's core. Their meathod of blowing it up was more like ANH's, blowing up an exhaust port caused it to overload and go kaboom. I am not sure to be offended that they stole that, or to be happy that they borrowed it.  (Confuzzled face for you non-yahoo people.)
