THE TWISTED SINEMA YELLOW JOURNALS

By Doctor T-3000

I recently read an old micro-filmed CANADIAN newspaper '70s article, about the
legendary Toronto movie archivist/lecturer/author Reg Hartt; who told the
reporter at the time; that he transformed himself into a younger, slimmer
version of his idol W.C.FIELDS, when confronted by a stuffy, elder bank
loan-manger.... Hartt, who when confronted with adversity, retorted; "Ahh, my
little Chickadee!..." the Manager FREAKED; to Reg's PERVERSE delight, at
watching this snobbish, old, condescending fool, loose his marbles!

[Hartt nearly lost the loan!] BUT, THIS IS WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR HEROES, WHEN
THEIR BACKS ARE UP AGAINST THE WALL, isn't it?!

A case in point...a few years ago, in my hard-drinkin' bar-fly days I was up
against a hellion female bar-keep, who constantly yelled at my drunken
ways!!!...Busty, petite,Bramptonian and blonde she was (I nicknamed her 'Jen the
Hen').... For a kick, I was harrasing her, at the end of the night, as as she
was cashing out the Kareoke Host ...She couldn't take my evil ways anymore, so
she then piped up in her little feminine tones and said..."GET THE F*CK OUT
,TONY!!!!!!"...(it was the first and only time I ever heard her little mouth
spew obscenity) ..Wel--l-l, in my adled mind, I thought in my best Bugs Bunny
manner; "Of course you realize...this means war!"

...Then in my best imitation of Foghorn Leghorn..I said [mind you
conservative-types..I was younger & drunker than I care to be, now!]..."Ah say,
Ah say...SQUAW....WHY DONCHA GIMME..I SAY WHY DONCHA GIMME A BLOW JAWB!''....(I
WAS KICKED OUT OF THE BAR FOR 3 MONTHS...THE FIRST ,OF MANY)...Now, this is not
how I recomend anyone should treat the person who serves them spiRits or food,
for that matter...But, it was a larf!!

(In one of his many lectures [before the cartoon progamme, Reg Hartt stated "The
world need more Bugs Bunnys!")

[Postscript: after the bouncer escorted me out, they locked me out...(KNOWIN' I
WAS JUST WARMIN' -UP!) For a half hour, I waited for the Kareoke host "Will" to
leave the establishment....Then, I pulled the door open and saying to Will,
"Thanks Doc!" as I passed him I leapt on the table and as Foghorn, screamed
"Thuh trap is LOOSE!!! Ah has been SPRUNG!!!..."

..THE LITTLE WOMAN, Jen the Hen, THEN PROCEEDED TO COME AT ME LIKE A MAD BULL,
THROWING A BROOM AT MY HEAD....I dodged it [just barely] and to the cheering
staff, I dee-clared..."Beep-beep...that's all folks!!.."and bolted the hell
outta the joint!!] ....Now, Friends I try in life to be Bugs Bunny...but, I know
in my heart, that I'm Daffy Duck!

..A-a-a-and now.....

.... Below this T.S.Y. JOURNAL, is some information on A COUPLE of the cartoon
programmes at the renegade movie theater, called CINEFORUM ...

COMIN' THISSaturday (April 5th, 7PM).. If y'all aint doing anything!!!! the
CINEFORUM is showing some brilliant 16MM cartoon films [information below] at
7pm..THE WAY THEY ARE MEANT TO...WITH A LIVE(LY) AUDIENCE!!!!

Warm Regards
