The 3 Plays of Rizal   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #402 of 409 |

I am pleased to announce that the three plays of Dr. José Rizal may
be located at the website, "Rizal's Life and Writings":

These three plays, all written when Rizal was relatively young,
reference the original Spanish through linkage to other sites. Also, an
English translation of each play is found on site.

The most recent addition, "Saint Eustache, Martyr" shows the
piety of Rizal and an interest in the lives of Christian martyrs which
was common in his day. This work is complemented with a number of
helpful footnotes.

To the best of my knowledge this is the only site which has easy access
to all three dramas in Rizal's original Spanish and the only place
where the English translations may be found on the Internet.
