Just wanted to put out a "call to arms", so to speak. On May 16th
Museum of the Cape Fear in Fayetteville NC will be hosting a living
history program in conjunction with Armed Forces Day weekend. It's
actually a two-day event if you count campling out on Friday night.
The program will feature reenactors from different eras, live period
Civil War and WWII music, a special exhibit on Viet Nam War
photography, modern military exhibits from Ft. Bragg, etc etc etc.
I'll probably be the lone Span-Am reenactor - as it stands now - but
if any of you from the Mid-Atlantic region are interested in
participating, we'd love to have you. We'll be providing food, straw,
firewood, indoor "facilities", a hospitality suite. We also have some
funds set aside to assist with gas/lodging expenses, if needed. For
