Hi Archie,
Great to hear that more folks are getting back into this time period. I'm
busy trying to get things together in the Philadelphia area for living history
and hopefully a tactical of some sort. So, do you have any spare Spanish gear?
Yrs,
Matt

After years of delay, I finally picked up an M1884 Trapdoor, (sort of
a beater, but suitable for blank firing etc.). Now all I need are some
trousers and I'm set for Span-Am US reenacting. (I did Spanish during
the Centennial).
My chums and I are planning to interpret the 1st Florida Infantry
Regiment, 1898 etc. during the coming year at a few venues. First,
on "Remember the Maine Day" Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 at Veterans Memorial
Park & Museum in Tampa, FL. we will have a living history, employing
our 29-foot whaleboat in a suitable ceremony etc. Anyone in the
central Florida area is welcome to attend.
