I am pleased to announce that the miscellaneous correspondence between
Dr. Jose Rizal and others between the years of 1877 and 1896 is now
available at the site, "Rizal's Life and Writings":

This correspondence includes, among many others
· Letters from love interests in Rizal's life (Nellie
Boustead and Josephine Bracken)
· Letters exchanged between Rizal and European scientists
other than Ferdinand Blumentritt.
· Letters written to and from governmental officials.
· Letters exchanged between Rizal and Fr. Pablo Pastells
regarding Rizal's religious outlook [Note: these letters are also
singled out in a separate section of the website]
· Letters detailing Rizal's attempts to start a Philippine
colony in northern Borneo.
This is, to this poster's knowledge, the only place on the Internet
where such correspondence can be found. It makes complete in this
website the extant letters Rizal exchanged during his brief lifetime.
Taken collectively these letters reveal a great deal about the character
of the national hero of the Philippines.
