Filipino Grievances in the 19th Century and the 21st Century

In the well known textbook on Rizal by Gregorio and Sonia Zaide, the
grievances faced by Filipinos in the 19th century could be summed up
in
this way:
* Instability of colonial administration because of the unstable
politics in Spain.
* Corrupt colonial officials
* No Philippine representation in the Cortes (Spanish Parliament)
* Human rights denied to Filipinos
* Lack of equality for the Filipinos before the law
* Maladministration of justice
* Racial discrimination
* Frailocracy
* Forced labor (slavery)
* Denial of ownership of the land (haciendas owned by the friars)
* Cruelty of the Guardia Civil

How many of these grievances continue to be perpetuated in the
Philippines today, although with different actors?
