The prior post made me recall chatting with 2 of my local yokel friends
who do SpanAm, & how we ought to do something for the era given that
the Menger Hotel here in San Antonio advertises The Roosevelt Bar as
one of the sites where TR recruited Rough Riders.

Unfortunately, but typically, my buds went "yeah...we oughta..." and
promptly dropped the topic (even though they've lamented in the past on
there not being any events here...grr!!)
