Alison Joshua Phillips was born in 1880 in Cabarrus County, NC. son
of John Wesley Phillips. who served in the Spanish American War and
then was dishonerably discharged.

I guess I'm trying to figure out how to go about getting more
information on Mr. Phillips. I'd love to know what sources of
information I might check to get some details on why he was
discharged and where that action might have taken place. A grand
bonus would be to find an old address for him or really just any
other information. Does anyone know if there is information at the
National Archives? or maybe the Library of Congress?
