I am happy to report that I have downloaded THE SOCIAL CANCER,
Charles Derbyshire's 1912 translation of Dr. José Rizal's NOLI ME
TANGERE.

To access the novel do the following:
(1)(If you are not a member) Join the Yahoo! Group: RP-Rizal.
(2) Go the Files Section
(3) Access the Prose Files
(4) Access THE SOCIAL CANCER

This group also has Dr. Rizal's poetry and other helpful, enjoyable,
and useful material on Dr. Rizal.

I may also mention that I now have a 1st draft of the letters
exchanged between Dr. Rizal and his family members between the years
1876 (when he leaves for Europe) and 1896 (the eve of Rizal's
execution). Eventually I hope to have this online as well.

The site presently has the correspondence between J. Rizal and F.
Blumentreat.

I am also in the process of learning how to put up a website:
rizalslifewritings

It will be dedicated to the writings of Dr. Rizal in addition to his
life, writings on Dr. Rizal and the like. It will not be online for
sometime as I am just learning the ropes.

I hope that the Website will be useful especially for students in the
Philippines who attend schools that lack adequate books and research
material on the national hero.
