Some folks out there has asked us to let them know when the
documentary concerning the search and finding of the wreckage of the
Battleship MAINE will be aired on PBS.

We just found out that the show is scheduled for airing on July 26,
2002. However, to see it in your local area, you will need to call the
programming director of your local PBS station. Inform them you are
interested in seeing "Search for the U.S.S. Maine," being offered by
PBS Plus and scheduled for airing on July 26. Otherwise, they may or
may not pick the show up intheir line-up.

I have seen the documentary, and it is very well done. In fact, it has
won a 2002 Telly Award. It does include footage of the wreck on the
sea bottom, and also some excellent views of the Living History Crew
of the USS OLYMPIA.
